Hi, my name is Ali, I am a qualified Psychotherapist/Counsellor with more than 25 years experience working with individuals and couples, giving me a deep understanding of the issues people face today—whether it’s mental health struggles, relationship difficulties, trauma, or navigating life’s issues. I offer confidential face-to-face and on-line counselling with individuals and couples to provide help and support during stressful times. My work focuses on you and your life challenges, emotional, relational and psychological, to help with coping, increasing personal awareness, problem solving, understanding and making positive life changes. This may include exploring your past to help understand your present world. My approach is very dependent on you and I tailor my work to fit your individual needs which is the most important thing and central to your first steps in recovery.I believe no two journeys are the same.

My approach and experience:

I am a qualified Psychotherapist and Counsellor, holding a First-Class Honours Degree in Psychology and a level 4 CPCAB Integrative Counselling Diploma. I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), bound by their Ethical Framework, and a graduate member of the British Psychological Society (BPS)

  • Difficult Childhoods: Bullying, emotional, physical, and sexual abuse, and childhood trauma
  • Self-Esteem and Identity: Low confidence, personality disorders, work-related stress, bereavement, and anger
