Myself

I am a Crowthorne based Psychotherapist and Counsellor. I gradulated with a First Class Honours Degree in Psychology and completed my level 4 CPCAB Integrative Counselling Diploma as part of my Counselling degree.

I am a member of the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapy (BACP) and am bound by BACP’s Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I am also a graduate member of the British Psychology Society.

In my 25 years of experience I have worked with hundreds of people from all walks of life. This has given me real insight and a practical view into the problems people are facing in these times, both in their personal and professional lives. Whether this is depression or anxiety, relationship or family issues, traumas, addictions, stress, bereavement or any other issue that is affecting someone personally.

I use an integrative theoretical approach to my work, using several models of counselling including: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution focussed Therapy, Schema Therapy, Transactional Analysis, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Gestalt, Psychodynamic and elements of PICT (Parks Inner Child Therapy)

My approach is very dependent on the individual needs of  each client, I tailor my counselling work to fit each client’s needs which is the most important thing and central to their first steps to recovery.
